Danpalon Ice to external walls (890m2) of the Factory and Danpalon Clear (570m2) to the walls and soffit of the transport building.

Danpalon Document Recall Facility, Greystanes. Danpalon Ice to external walls of the Factory and Danpalon Clear to the walls and soffit of the transport building at the front (2400 lm) The Danpalon façade breaks down the impenetrable steel facades in the area by allowing an interaction of light and privacy along the staging and processing areas. It allows natural light to enter the building and provides a textural platform to further enhance the building’s identity with the application of white graphic numbers. At night, these areas are lit internally and glow in the dark surrounding landscape

Danpalon Ice to external highlights of the Factory (50000m2)

Danpalon Majau Sports Hall is a monument that catches the eye, and that can be admired both in the day and at night. The architects wanted to give a sense of space to the north wall. Over the 3 metre concrete foundations the team erected a flat, internal wall of 180 sq. m. made of Danpalon 16mm Ice, intended to be resistant to ball games. For the second skin, on the outside, it selected Danpalon 10mm (210 sq. m.), set back from the roof and in the form of four waves, each one illuminated in the evening by green, yellow, blue and red lighting effects.

Ashfield Aquatic Centre (1510m2 DP12 Opal)

The Opal Multicell disperses the natural light in such a fragmented manner that shadows at pool concourse level are not evident. The light dispersion is so good that even on a bright day the sun is not easily definable. The centre requires no artificial lighting during daylight hours and hence energy savings. A magnificent and unique ambience and feeling of space and light fills the indoor volumes of this aquatic hall. This effect will be particularly appreciated during the winter months,` said Stephen Johansson of The Facility Design Group. Danpalon allows the infra red rays to penetrate, thus providing the capacity for solar heat gain during the colder months of the year. This will greatly assist the mechanical air handling systems and again provide further energy savings.

Lake Ainsworth Sports Hall (2030m2 DP16Reflective Grey)

The Danpalon Heatstop (reflective grey) colour was chosen for its overall efficiencies but additionally the grade of solar transmission was varied to suit the orientation of the building. The thermal performance of the building is superior to that of a conventional structure with profiled steel roofing and cladding. There is less heat transfer through the building envelope and artificial lighting is not required at all during the day.

Cowra Aquatic Centre (505m2 DP16 Green)

On the Cowra Aquatic Centre, Danpalon has demonstrated it is an ideal glazing solution that offers a comfortable natural lighting solution and a UV safe environment. Danpalon was also selected for its lightweight, durability and corrosive resistant properties said Karen Gay of Design West.

St Marouns College ( 460m2 Reflective Grey)

According to the feedback from the College Staff, the covered walkway is very successful as it gives the college students and staff a sense of space, safety and security.
